Directed by Alison Chernick, the 2017 recipient of a National Endowment for The Humanities Award

Thanks to the World Baseball Classic’s rules on eligibility, the 2017 team consisted of Jewish-American Major League Baseball players with many minor league and retired players.
Most of them haven’ t had much exposure to Judaism, let alone been to Israel.
After a trip to Israel, they go on to beat England, Cuba, South Korea, Taipei and the Netherlands
and progress to the champion series for the first time ever. Premiere 2018.
